Why spread Dreamfall?
Story-driven adventure games once were very popular. Many people fondly remember classics such as Sierra's King's Quest, LucasArts Monkey Island, and many others. Since then, their popularity has sadly -and probably unjustly- declined in favor of other games.
One of the biggest problems for the potential successors in the adventure genre, was lack of exposure.
SpreadDreamfall is an effort to spread the word about the game Dreamfall, by making use of Community marketing: the spreading of the word by the actual fans.
